LOGAN – City officials here have issued a progress update on the ongoing First Dam Storage Tank and Waterline Project construction schedule.
That project’s goals are the construction of a 10-million gallon water storage tank near First Dam in Logan Canyon and installation of a new pipeline along Quail Way, 300 North and Canyon Road to carry water to the western portions of Logan, along with roadway improvements on Canyon Road.
Waterline installation on 300 North is already underway and will continue into summer of 2026, according to city officials.
Canyon Road waterline work will begin in February and also continue into the summer months.
The installation work along Quail Road is scheduled to begin in the spring.
City officials warn that motorists can expect temporary lane and block closures on 300 North, although local access will be maintain throughout the construction period.
One eastbound lane will be open on Canyon Road during construction, with local access also maintained throughout the summer months.
