On-hand for the event to answer questions will be solar/electric professionals from Green Box Solar and Bassett Electric as well as officials representing Logan City Light & Power and electric vehicle experts from the local Murdock dealerships.

The electric education night will begin at 5:30 p.m. with presentations providing an overview of solar photovoltaic power rates; discussion of solar bids and potential payback; and, external solar bid costs.

During those talks, tax incentives for solar/electric vehicles and battery charging infrastructure will also be discussed.

Following those presentations, the solar/electric experts will be available to discuss specific questions about local residents’ properties, permitting and installer requirements.
