March 22, 1945 ~ July 30, 2023 (age 78)

Kent Charles Jeppesen peacefully passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023, with his loving wife Dianna at his side. He was 78 years old.

He will always be remembered by his friends and family as an incredible example of humility, service, patience, humor, and above all, kindness. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Dianna; children: Jeri (Dan), Tyler (Anne), Ryan (Brooke), Jeffrey (Melissa), and Kelly (Andrea); 19 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; brothers Claude and Leon.

Kent was predeceased by his parents, Marvin and Grace Jeppesen, sister Linda, and his brother Ricky.

He was born in Brigham City, Utah on March 22, 1945 to Marvin and Grace Jeppesen. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Florida and Puerto Rico from 1964 – 1966. Following his mission, he served in the Utah National Guard for 6 years.

While attending Utah State University, he met Dianna Lynn Mason who quickly became his everything. They were married in the Manti Temple on October 6, 1967. Together they raised a family of 5 children while running a successful dairy farm in Corinne, Utah.

In 1995, Kent and Dianna moved to Mantua, Utah where they lived for over 16 years, two of which Kent served as the city Mayor. They then moved to Perry, Utah in 2011.

Kent’s unwavering faith and testimony in Jesus Christ impacted and directed every aspect of his life. He served as a bishop in the Mantua 1st ward, served a mission in Rochester, New York with Dianna, and later, along with his wife, served as sealing coordinators for three years in the Brigham City Temple.

He brought happiness and laughter to everything he did. Even in the busiest seasons on the farm, he always found time to take family vacations, attend his kids’ various events, and take his sweetheart out on date nights. He truly loved to spend any spare time he had snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, hunting, and fishing with his close friends.

Kent lived a life of quiet dedication to serving those around him. He will be truly missed by all those who had the privilege to get to know him throughout his life.

The family would like to give their sincere thanks to the incredibly compassionate staff at the BeeHive Homes for their loving care of Kent over the past 27 months.
