November 4, 1971 — November 30, 2023 (age 52)

Jared Adam Brazier, age 52, our beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle passed away on November 30, 2023, in Logan, Utah due to complications from kidney failure. Jared was born on November 3, 1971, in South Amboy, New Jersey, to Elsie May “Viki” and Albert Brazier.

Jared lived in New Jersey until he was 6 years old, when he moved to Grace Idaho. He lived in Smithfield Utah, for a few years during high school, but moved back to Grace to graduate. He lived in Pocatello Idaho and earned his certificate in culinary arts from Idaho State University. He also attended Utah State University and BYU-Pathway.

He returned to Pocatello after his mission, and met his wife, Amy, through an ad in the newspaper. They were married on August 5, 1995, in the Logan Utah Temple. Together they lived in Logan Utah, American Fork Utah, and Orem Utah. He loved learning new things, and the History and Discovery channel were his favorites. Jared loved comedy, the color red, dad jokes, Asian and Mexican food, and cats and dogs.

Jared was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings throughout his life. He taught gospel essentials and Primary. He served in the library and sang in the choir. He served as a Missionary to the people of Taiwan.

Jared was a wonderful father, a great provider who worked until a month before his death. He was intelligent, funny, witty, and most importantly a kind man, He was the calm in the storm and a source of joy and comfort for his family and friends. He will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Viki, his father, Albert, his brother, Bill, and his sister, Sharon Parish.

He is survived by his sisters, Viki (Jerry) Bean of Waite Park Minnesota, Donna (Jim) Dexter of Grace Idaho, Sister-in-law, Tammy Brazier of Chesterfield Virginia, and brother-in-law, Paul Parish of Meridian Idaho. He leaves behind his wife, Amy of Logan Utah, daughter, Jasmine (Seth) Greaves, Son, Michael (Makenna) Brazier, both of Springville, Utah; his grandson, Xander Greaves, and 33 nieces and nephews.

A memorial services is pending, but will be under the direction of Allen-Hall Mortuary. He will be buried near his father, mother, and sister in Grace Idaho.
