HYDE PARK – Hyde Park is experiencing a surge in new development, with two major mixed-use projects set to reshape the city’s housing and commercial landscape.
In February, Kairos Real Estate announced The Aria, a project that will bring 62 townhomes, 16 condominiums, and eight commercial spaces to Wolf Pack Way, the newly opened road connecting North Logan and Hyde Park.
Now, the city is moving forward with an even larger development. Bringhurst Village, also by Kairos Real Estate, will introduce 206 townhomes, 48 apartments, and over 50,000 square feet of retail and commercial space along Hyde Park’s Main Street.
Hyde Park Mayor Bryan Cox has emphasized the importance of these developments in shaping the city’s future.

“Not only will this project bring much-needed housing, but it will also create a true Main Street destination filled with restaurants and businesses that serve our residents,” Cox said. “Expanding our commercial and retail tax base is the single most effective way to generate revenue for the city without placing a heavier burden on homeowners.”
Cox called the project “a win-win” for both the local economy and the community’s long-term sustainability, one that fits into the community’s long-term vision shaped through extensive public input.

“Strategic long-term planning, while preserving the quality of life our community cherishes, has always been our priority,” Cox explained. “This vision for the future of Hyde Park was shaped through extensive public input during our city’s general plan meetings.”
Both projects align with Hyde Park’s strategic vision for sustainable growth, aiming to provide local retail and dining options while reducing residents’ reliance on neighboring cities. Portions of the housing components in both developments will also qualify for Utah’s Affordable Housing Program and the First-Time Home Buyer program, offering local families more opportunities to stay in Cache Valley.
Construction timelines and specific business tenants for The Aria and Bringhurst Village have not yet been announced.
