BANNOCK COUNTY, Idaho — Idaho State Police responded to a series of commercial vehicle rollovers Tuesday along a two-mile stretch of Interstate 15 caused by powerful wind gusts.

Between 12:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., authorities reported approximately 11 separate incidents west of McCammon. Sustained high winds and gusts reaching 65 mph were blamed for blowing the semi-trucks over, leading to temporary roadway blockages as emergency crews worked to secure the scenes.

While crews assisted those involved, officials stated that the removal of the overturned vehicles was expected to continue throughout the night. No immediate information was released regarding potential injuries.
