LOGAN — Firefighters were called to a blaze at an industrial fire Monday morning, Sept. 11, in west Logan. The blaze was reported around 10 a.m. at the Fur Breeders Agricultural Co-op, on the corner of 150 N. 1000 West.

Logan City Fire Marshal Craig Humphreys said the fire occurred inside a silo that holds production material.

Employees of the business told firefighters the material caught on fire Sunday and they had extinguished it.

Humphreys said it appeared the material reignited Monday.

Firefighters were able to use a ladder truck to spray water into the silo and extinguish the fire.

Humphreys said there were no injuries to employees or firefighters. No damage to the silo was reported.
