BOX ELDER COUNTY — Firefighters controlled a commercial structure fire in Tremonton on Monday night, preventing extensive damage.
The Garland Fire Department provided automatic aid, joining the Tremonton Fire Department shortly before 9:00 p.m. Crews encountered heavy smoke conditions coming from an auto repair workshop on the property. Interior teams entered the structure and brought the fire under control.
Authorities reported moderate damage to the building, but no injuries resulted from the incident. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The Garland Fire Department publicly thanked Box Elder Communications, the Tremonton Garland Police Department, and the Box Elder County Sheriff’s Office for their coordinated assistance.
