LOGAN — Emergency personnel responded to a single-vehicle crash in Logan Canyon, US-89, on Wednesday afternoon, safely assisting the driver from the vehicle.

Crews from Battalion 70, Heavy Rescue 71, and Rescue 71 were dispatched to the scene near Bear Hollow, milepost 478, shortly before 3 p.m.

The car went off the roadway and down a hillside, before coming to a stop, partially suspended above the Logan River.

Upon arrival, firefighters helped the vehicle’s lone occupant out of the automobile. First responders evaluated the driver for potential injuries at the scene before releasing him without requiring hospital transport.

No other vehicles were involved.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
