SALT LAKE CITY — A rendering for the Lehi, Utah temple has been released by leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The Lehi temple was announced during the April 2024 General Conference.

Officials said it will be built on more than 22 acres near the intersection of 3950 North and Center Street in Lehi.

The temple is anticipated to be about 85,000 square feet. The date for a groundbreaking ceremony and construction were not released. 

It will be the 31st temple in Utah in operation, under renovation, under construction or announced, and will be the first temple in Lehi.

Utah, the Church’s world headquarters, is home to nearly 2.2 million members of the faith, approximately two-thirds of the state’s population of 3.5 million people.
