March 3, 1935 – March 25, 2022 (age 87)
DeLois Bertha Balls Johnson gave up her fight in the early morning hours of March 25, 2022. She was born March 3, 1935 to Denzel and Edna Alvey Balls. She was raised in Hyde Park, Utah. She married Dell Johnson and they had four sons, Douglas, Todd, Corey and Casey. They later divorced, and she married DeLoy Hall.
DeLois was multi-talented. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was a talented seamstress who was not intimidated by any sewing task, from wedding dresses to helmet liners. She was a beautiful painter and liked to keep busy with craft projects.
She is survived by three of her four sons, Douglas (Shawna), Corey (Teri), and Casey (Brenda), and 26 grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Kenneth (Venna) Balls, and Rick Barton.
Arrangements will be under the direction of Allen Hall Mortuary.
A celebration of life will be held at 7 pm on Friday, April 8, 2022, at the Hyrum Civic Center.
