LOGAN – The Cache Refugee and Immigrant Connection (CRIC) will host their annual World Refugee Day Celebration on Saturday June 15, from 5-8 PM at Willow Park.

They hope this community gathering will bring members from Cache Valley’s refugee communities together with long time residents to celebrate the diverse culture found in Logan.

World Refugee Day will not only feature food from all over the world, but a multicultural program featuring performances from the area’s own refugee communities. It is a free and fun experience for the whole family. This year is expected to draw a crowd larger than ever.

CRIC’s wants to make Cache Valley a community for everyone. World Refugee Day is an opportunity for everybody to connect with community members from all over the world who call Cache Valley home.

CRIC wants everyone to come together to celebrate as the only resettlement agency outside of Salt Lake City. CRIC has played a pivotal role in resettling refugees to Cache Valley.

in 2023 CRIC has resettled 84 refugees and spent 1580 hours helping people who walk in to their facility and they found homes for 40 refugee families.
