September 27, 1950 – September 23, 2021 (age 70)

Connie Sue Hartley Pehrson returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday September 23, 2021 at her home in Lewiston, Ut.

Connie was born in LaGrande Oregon to Lenau and Vareta (Asher) Hartley. She joined her sister, Linda Hartley in many adventures as they grew up together in LaGrande and Walla Walla Washington.

Connie attended Yakima Valley College and completed a bachelor’s degree in Special Education.

After college she moved to Logan, Ut to teach where she met and married her sweetheart Carl Richard Pehrson. They recently celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary. They are the parents of four children. Anna, Scott, Jeanette and Michele.

They started their journey in Smithfield, Ut where they loved their friends and neighbors. Soon they were bursting at the seams and moved to the country to their dream farmhouse in Lewiston, Ut on 3 acres of land where they raised llamas and a hobby farm.

Connie was an angel on earth who radiated positivity and was a light to all. She was blessed with abundant musical talent both, with her beautiful alto voice and her exceptional piano skills. She shared her testimony through music and in her beautiful lessons both at church and at home.

She loved the written word and enjoyed reading and writing. She was able to share her love and testimony to many through her magnificent poems and stories.

Connie had a heart of gold and loved everyone she met but her heart was especially drawn to those who others may not seek. This was her inherited gift yet was honed in by the love she gained from raising her children and her cherished son who has disabilities.

Connie loved her family, especially as it has been growing, with her son in laws Nathan, Devin, and Wayne. As well as her twelve wonderful grandchildren and her great granddaughter. She was their pride and joy always taking every opportunity for each of them to be loved to the fullest.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 1st in Lewiston 3rd ward chapel on main street Lewiston. Masks will be required. Zoom link will be provided on the Nelson Funeral Home obituary at www.nelsonfuneralhome.com

The Pehrson family is extra thankful for all of her caregivers especially those at the Logan regional hospital dialysis center for supporting Connie for 5 1/2 years so that we could have that extra time with her.

Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at Nelson Funeral Home.
