Colleen Anne Miller Robbins was born October 25,1947 to Frank Roy Miller Jr (Bill) and Clista Rosaline Milner (Rosie) in Fargo North Dakota.  She is the youngest of 3 siblings: Carol Jeanne Miller Schultz Stephenson, Richard Roy Miller and Colleen.

She was very active as a child enjoying sports, swimming, fishing, hunting and getting her brother out of trouble.

She was married and divorced a few times before she found her sweetheart and best friend, Larry Dee Robbins; They married on December 28, 1994, and then were sealed in the Seattle LDS Temple on December 28, 1995.

Together they have an extensive blended family. Keith Robbins, Julia Fleck, Russell Robbins, Christine Robbins, Aimee Davis, Brandon Robbins, Shelly Henderson, Clista Bartle Hillyard, Misty Stenslie (deceased), Earl Robbins, BilliJo Bartle House, Dianne Bartle Tailleur, Kristafer Dee Robbins and a set of twins that didn’t live.

Colleen had a variety of occupations such as: Nurse, bookkeeper, convenience store associate, apartment manager, motel manager, hairdresser, cake decorator, and foster parent.

She has become our bionic woman.  She has multiple titanium joints, plates, screws up her back and a pacemaker.  Her bone doctor at one of her appointments told her she was the Queen of Osteoporosis because she topped the charts

No matter what life has thrown at her she has always been a fighter and didn’t let physical disabilities slow her down much until she had her stroke 2 years ago.

Colleen was proceeded in death by; her parents, grandparents, sister, husband, her daughter, and a set of twins.

She has chosen to follow her husband’s example and donate her body to science so others can learn from her.

My mom wanted people to be happy once she passed  because she wouldn’t be in pain anymore and she would be with her sweetheart again after he passed 4 years ago.

Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at White Pine Funeral Home.
