LOGAN – City officials here are inviting residents to attend a public meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 2 that will provide an update on the Canyon Road Improvement Project.
That gathering will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the Municipal Council Chambers of the Logan City Hall.
As city officials get closer to a final design for Canyon Road improvements between 600 East and Herm’s Inn that will be constructed as part of the First Dam Water Tank & Pipeline Project, there are some elements on which they are seeking citizen input and feedback.
Those improvements that will be discussed will include proposed landscaping features, sidewalk widths and other elements of roadway design.
Although no public comment period will be included at the meeting, there will be a survey introduced there to gather citizen input.
Citizens may also contact the consultant public involvement team by calling 435-258-7302 or e-mail to logantank@jub.com.
Resident can also contact elected officials with questions prior to the update meeting.
Canyon Road construction is expected to begin in spring 2026.
