LOGAN – With the coming of fall weather, Logan officials are notifying municipal park users of reduced services at local parks and trail heads.

Due to colder overnight temperatures, officials of the city’s Parks and Recreation Division have announced that they have begun closing park restrooms and shutting off park drinking fountains.

Those winter season changes are now necessary to protect water lines, they say.

All park restrooms will be closed with the exception of the upper restroom at Mt. Logan Park, which will remind open year-round.

For a full list of parks and trail heads affected by the restroom and fountain closures, residents can go online to www.loganutah.gov/government/departments/parks_and_recreation/index.php
