LOGAN – In lieu of the street-by-street spring clean-up provided to Logan residents in previous years, city officials will provide bulk green waste pick-up from designated locations during mid-April.

Those pick-ups will be made between Monday, April 14 and Friday, April 25.

Green waste bins will be positioned at Lundstrom Park in the parking stalls on 1350 North; at Hyrum Gibbbons Mount Logan Park in the parking lot; at Merlin Olsen Park in the east parking stalls; at Bridger Park; and at the Willow Park Quad at the north end of the parking lot.

The pick-up service is free and available for Logan residents only, according to city officials.

For details on what will be accepted at the pickup sites and how to properly dump your green waste, please visit the Logan City Street Division Spring Cleanup webpage at https://www.loganutah.gov/…/public…/streets/cleanup.php

City residents are being cautioned not to place any green waste on the curbside near their homes. Officials say that green waste placed on the curbside will NOT be picked up and will be the responsibility of the resident to dispose of.

Only yard debris placed in city issued green waste containers will be picked up from curbside on a weekly basis.

Anyone wanting to sign up for a curbside green waste can is instructed to call 435-716-9755 or visit the Logan City Environmental Department website.

City resident are also advised not to leave yard debris at those designated pick-up locations after city bins are removed after April 25.
