LOGAN — This past summer the Cache Valley Chamber of Commerce sponsored a European vacation to Scotland.

On her monthly visit to KVNU’s For the People program this past week, chamber president and CEO Jamie Andrus said they are facilitating a trip to yet another European destination.

“Other chambers in our state have been doing this, so we thought we would test it out. So, we’re getting ready to get people signed up to do our next excursion, which is going to be in April, and we’re going to Paris, France and the south of France, Nice and a few other great places. We’re kind of excited about it,” she said.

Andrus said they have used a company that has been around for over 20 years that only does travel excursions for chambers of commerce. But you don’t have to be a chamber member to go.

“This is for any chamber member and anybody they know, or anybody who wants to,” Andrus explained. “You don’t have to be a member to go. And really it’s not focused on business, as you think it might, it’s just for fun.”

The trip, which includes airfare, hotel, two meals a day and entrances to all the attractions is only $3,339. But, according to their website, the payment deadline is December 15th.   You can get more details at cachechamber.com/travel.
