LOGAN – Anderson’s Seed and Garden held their third annual holiday celebration on Center Street in Logan recently.

Around five in the evening they had their twinkle light parade right on Center Street, showcasing small parade floats and including Elf joining the parade on top of a van and dancing to the music.

Bluebird Candy showcased their holiday candy in their windows to show the public their holiday cheer.

After the parade, they had the Center Street lighting ceremony where they lit up all the trees surrounding Center Street.

Soon after that they had people crowd the street where the parade was held to see fireworks go off.

The Utah Theater had three movies that they showcased all day and an area for Santa to meet and ask each child what they wanted for Christmas.

Mark Anderson is the event organizer for their holiday celebration on Center Street.

Anderson says that his favorite part of the celebration is seeing the fireworks go off.

“For a decade, I wanted to do fireworks on Center Street and so we were able to do it the first time three years ago when they opened the Laub Plaza,” Anderson explained.

Anderson says this is the perfect event for people to come out and enjoy the holiday spirit.

“With the parade and the kids smiling and Santa comes and lights up the trees and then the fireworks afterwards. It really gets you in the holiday spirit early on in the season, and it’s just a great way to get out and have fun with a bunch of people that are all excited about the holidays.”
