December 24, 1931 ~ April 28, 2023 (age 91)
Carol Joan Tuft, 91, died peacefully on Friday, April 28, 2023 in Brigham City. She was born December 24, 1931 in Elsinore, Utah to Ervin Henry Larson and Frances Marie Parker.
Joan graduated from South Sevier High School. She worked, mostly in banking, from 1950 to 1959. Joan married Don Leonard Tuft in the Manti LDS Temple in 1953. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. Some of her favorites included the young women’s organization and family history. She served with her husband in the California San Francisco Mission. She was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed gardening. She lovingly supported her husband and children in their various activities and endeavors.
Surviving are Joan and Don’s children, Jan (Nathan), Brian (Pamela), Diane (Kirk), Karen (Jay); their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Joan was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Don, her parents, and her ten siblings.

A Visitation will be held Friday, May 19, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City.
A Memorial Service will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the mortuary chapel.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
