NORTH LOGAN – Some people in the valley spend their time all day Saturday looking for treasures at area yard sales.
And for those holding garage sales they must put together signs and put them in strategic locations, hoping people see them and then have to retrieve those signs after the sale is over.
Wouldn’t it be nice if someone gathered all the yard sales and put them in one place so people could spend their time shopping instead of driving?
That is one of the reasons Cache Valley Media Group is hosting Cache Valley’s Biggest Garage Sale this Saturday, June 6, to be held at George S. Eccles Ice Center parking lot at 2825 N 200 E, North Logan.
The event will be from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
This massive, community-wide event is one place where locals and businesses come together to sell everything from household goods and clothing to antiques, tools, and more.
Cora Putman from Cache Valley Media Group said this is a great way to spend a Saturday and it is kid-friendly event.
“So far we have 50 booths and three food trucks, and this list is growing daily,” she said. “We will also have bounce houses and Checketts Amusements for the kids.”
Ryan Frandsen, the director of sales at the media group, said this is the ultimate chance to find great deals, and enjoy a day of finding a bargain you can’t live without.
“In the past, we have had just about anything people are looking for,” he said. “We’ve had bikes, vintage items, tools, furniture, plants and it’s all right there in one place.”
Besides the individuals selling items there are also several commercial vendors.
DD Auto & Salvage, located at 1975 W. 200 in Logan, is a co-sponsor of this event.
