Here in cache valley we are very fortunate to have this stunning terrain and beautiful mountains to enjoy. One way to enjoy these mountains is mountain biking. It gets you outside in the mountains and is a very fun activity as well as a good workout.

But even with all these great mountains here I feel that we have a lack of mountain biking trails. While we do have some nice trails here like Green Canyon and Providence they are relatively easy and get old after riding them for a while and they are spread out. I think Cache Valley needs a mountain biking trail system somewhere here in the valley whether it’s up Logan Canyon or even somewhere like Millville or Providence Canyon.

I think there are tons of great spots where we can put a network of trails. This would be very beneficial to the community as it would be a place to gather with friends, meet new people and get people outdoors and doing something fun.

A good example of this is Corner Canyon in Draper, Utah. There are many trails with a range of difficulties and styles and a trail back to the top so you can ride them all day with no uphill traffic.

I’m sure many people can agree that someplace like this in Cache Valley would be great and I’m sure many people (like me) would love to volunteer and help build these trails for the community. I think Cache Valley needs to consider this idea and maybe make this dream become a reality.
