LOGAN – The Cache County Republican Party will host leadership training for its newly elected precinct chairs on Thursday, June 19.
That training session will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Logan Library.
This training will provide an opportunity for those precinct chairs to get equipped, get connected and take meaningful action in their neighborhoods, according to Natalie Levi, the new chair of the Cache County GOP.
“If we want real change,” she added, “it starts right here, with you.”
The training session will emphasize the role of precinct chairs in upholding traditional Republican values and their relationship to the GOP’s recently established Legislative Communication Groups.
Republican Legislative Communication Groups refer to organizations or entities affiliated with the Republican Party that are focused on communication strategies within state legislatures.
Levi said that the June 19 training session will equip GOP precinct chairs with contact lists of fellow Republicans and empower them to coordinate neighborhood initiatives.
The training will also explore ways that the Legislation Communication Groups can monitor the voting activities of state representatives and influence their decision during the legislative process.
The Logan Library is located at 285 North Main Street in downtown Logan.
