The Spartronics company of North Logan focuses on contract manufacturing services for key markets, including commercial aerospace, defense, medical devices, life science, instrumentation and control as well as space exploration.

NORTH LOGAN – The Cache Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting a tour of Spartronics Logan for state lawmakers and other local elected officials.

The private tour is slated for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 11.

Spartronics Logan is located at 750 East, 1600 North on the Innovation Campus of Utah State University in North Logan.

The company focuses on contract manufacturing services for key markets, according to Paul Fraipont, the president and CEO of Spartronics. Those markets include commercial aerospace, defense, medical devices, life science, instrumentation and control as well as space exploration.

Spartronics specializes in printed circuit board assemblies, subsystem integration and full-box builds for its worldwide customers.

With nine facilitates worldwide – including the local company Inovar on the Innovation Campus, which was acquired in September 2021 – Spartronics serves customers in Asia, Mexico and the United States.

During the tour, Spartronics officials will discuss their deep involvement in the aerospace and defense markets and the company’s strategic growth plan.

Topics of interest to state lawmakers and local officials will include the importance of federal investments; obtaining local government support for winning major government contracts; understanding the open capacity of the Spartronics Logan facility; and enabling workforce growth, both locally and regionally.

By highlighting Spartronics’ services and technological capabilities, the firm’s leaders hope to align their economic development with that of Cache Valley, including the potential for new and existing partnerships as well as ongoing collaboration.

Spartronics is focused on expanding business opportunities for the Logan facility, says Monica Gasbarre, its director of marketing. The firm also wants to position itself as a leader in the Cache Valley community.

The private tour will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Spartronics location at 750 East, 1600 North in North Logan, according to Jamie Andrus, President and CEO of the Cache Valley Chamber of Commerce.
