CACHE COUNTY – Bryson Behm is among the three candidates for Cache County Clerk/Auditor who have filed to run in the GOP Special Election slated for June 28.
Behm is currently serving as the county’s acting clerk/auditor in the wake of the June 4 resignation of former Clerk/Auditor Jess Bradfield.
Behm believes that he is “uniquely qualified” to take on the responsibilities of that important position within the county government.
“I believe that my experience, values and vision make me the best candidate for the job,” he says simply.
Behm says that his experience in election administration dates back to the 2020 presidential election, where he worked to ensure that every vote was counted accurately and efficiently.
He adds that he is dedicated to upholding Cache County values, which Behm believes include fiscal responsibility, limited government and individual liberty.
If elected by his fellow Republicans on June 28, Behm’s vision for the clerk/auditor’s office includes a focus on modernization, election transparency and expanding access for in-person voting.
He says that he plans to increase the number of in-person voting locations, implement more audits to ensure accountability and streamline the process of tax relief for seniors and disabled veterans.
Behm pledges that he is also committed to ensuring that every dollar spent by the clerk/auditor’s office is used wisely and efficiently.
“I am committed to serving the people of Cache County with honesty, integrity and transparency,” he adds.
The other candidates who have filed for the county post include Micah R. Safsten, currently a policy analyst for the Cache County Council; and David Benson, a management consultant and chair of the Cache County Republican Veterans Caucus and vice-chair of the Cache County GOP Northeast District.
(Editor’s Note: Similar profiles will be published for each candidate on Cache Valley Daily).

Would-be candidates can submit their applications to Cox at P.O. Box 43, Logan, UT, 84323.
If submitting an application electronically, a signed paper application must also be submitted to the same address prior to the filing deadline on June 22.
