LOGAN  — It’s about time for the annual American Mothers Conference, it will be held November 15th at 730p.m. On KVNU’s For the People program on Tuesday, organizer Diane Weese told us about this year’s conference

“Well, we’re real excited about this conference. We started back 34 years ago in our homes, we would rotate one class to another and learn about parenting, and then move to bigger places. Now we’re back online due to COVID and also realizing that we can reach more homes when we have it on Youtube,” she explained.

Weese said it will be launching on November 15th, but you can actually watch it for several months afterwards on Youtube, just search American Mothers Utah. She highlighted who this year’s guest speaker will be.

“We will be featuring Michelle Craig, she is a gifted speaker and strong advocate for families. She was involved with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as a counselor over the Young Women. And she sees the every day things as the important things. She graduated from elementary (education) from BYU and just loves devoting her life to family and community and education.”

The theme is “Look to the Day” and Weese said the conference will also feature some beautiful songs as well.
