Saturday, when Utah State University’s football Aggies travel for the fifth time to Boise, Idaho to appear in a bowl game, as always the USU Alumni Association will be there to cheer on the team.

Saturday morning before the 1:30 p.m. kickoff at the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl against Georgia State, the alumni association will partner with Trivium Life Services to host a winter clothing drive at the All-Aggie Tailgate party. From 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. they will collect used coats, sweaters, scarves, gloves and hats.

The drive will benefit families in need in the Boise area.

Trivium is a Boise area business working to help those with chronic mental illness, developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities and  brain injuries to reach independence through their residential and day rehabilitation services.

Kim Larson, executive director of the USU Alumni Association, said the Aggies are pleased to be able to provide a layer of comfort and support to those who need assistance this time of year.

Larson said an All-Aggie Pep Rally will be held Friday, Dec. 22, from 7-8 p.m. at the Basque Center. Registration is $5 for adults and children.
