OGDEN – The Genesis Project will host Night to Shine for the 10th consecutive year at Ogden’s Union Station on Friday, February 7. The event, dedicated to celebrating individuals with special needs, is sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation and made possible by The Genesis Project, Ogden City, and numerous local donors.

Night to Shine offers a prom-like experience for individuals with special needs, complete with limousine rides, a red-carpet entrance, corsages and boutonnieres, a catered dinner, dancing, and karaoke. A key highlight of the evening is the crowning ceremony, where each guest is recognized as a king or queen. The event also features a Sensory Room and a Respite Room for parents and caregivers.

“It is such a blessing to lead this event,” said DJ Cristobal, Campus Pastor at The Genesis Project. “Each year, we look forward to giving those with different abilities a prom night experience they will never forget… It takes hundreds of volunteers and many corporate donors to put on this amazing prom night experience. I am very thankful for an awesome team of volunteers that help make it all happen, and am proud to be a part of this effort!”

Registration for Night to Shine filled up in less than 30 minutes, reflecting the event’s high demand. Across 56 countries, Night to Shine has created more than half a million guest experiences since its inception.
