LOGAN — The William A. Burnard Warming Center has initiated its Code Blue emergency shelter operations, offering a safe and warm space for individuals in need as colder weather arrives in Cache Valley.

Located at St. John’s Episcopal Church at 85 E. 100 North, the warming center operates from Oct. 15 through April 10 whenever temperatures drop below 18 degrees Fahrenheit.

The facility is open nightly from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m. to anyone seeking shelter during dangerous freeze conditions.

During the early season, emergency chair seating is available to accommodating guests until full winter operations officially kick off in November.

Community members in need of emergency shelter during Code Blue declarations are encouraged to visit the church location during operating hours.
