LOGAN – Logan City officials have issued an update on the construction project laying fiber optic cable under 400 North/US 89.

Starting on Wednesday, Sept. 10, westbound traffic along US 89 at the mouth of Logan Canyon will be restricted to one lane.

That restriction will be in effect from 7 a.m. on Sept. 10 until 7 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11. It will affect traffic from the vicinity of the Logan Golf & County Club to the vicinity of Champ Avenue.

During that period, access to 1350 East and 1200 East from US 89 will be closed. Motorists can access those roads by detouring at 1500 East and following Aggie Blvd.
