BRIGHAM CITY — D.L. Evans Bank has awarded a $2,625 donation to Acts Six Soup Kitchen as part of the bank’s 2024 Employee Directed Donation Initiative.
The initiative allows bank employees to nominate their favorite non-profit organizations in Idaho and Utah to receive donations. Each selected organization receives $2,500, with an additional 5% bonus added in the name of the employee who submitted the application.
Randy Christensen, Vice President Commercial Loan Officer at the bank’s Brigham City branch, nominated Acts Six Soup Kitchen. The volunteer-led organization operates entirely on donations, using every dollar to support and care for individuals in need in the Brigham City area.
This donation reflects the second round of the initiative, which aims to strengthen local communities by empowering employees to direct charitable contributions.
The bank has made similar contributions to other charitable organizations throughout the area this year, such as Cache Valley Humanitarian Center, Cache Community Food Pantry, Catholic Community Services of Utah and Habitat for Humanity Northern Utah.
