LOGAN – Built on the support of over 25,800 contributions, Utah State University donations have totaled an impressive $57 million for fiscal year 2023. The contributions were received from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.

The school came into the new fiscal year after setting an all time fundraising record of more than $110 million for the fiscal year ending on June 30, 2022. That was a 137 percent increase over fiscal year 2021’s total of $46.8 million. And 2022 was also the first time USU surpassed $100 million in fundraising.

The school announced that since 2018, average annual fundraising amounts have more than doubled.

More than $20.3 million came this year from about 4,000 alumni donors with another $2.5 million from 534 faculty and staff. Also during this year’s fundraising season, which ended in June, 62 first-time endowment donors gave more than $4 million  to support 1,835 students.

Every year donations are received from all 50 states and the District of Columbia and  from 27 counties in the state, led by the $10.5 million from 2,627 donors in Cache County and $10.4 million from 764 donors in Salt Lake County.

“Every donor creates meaningful impact and, this year, we are particularly grateful for the incredible number of people who have chosen to give to Utah State,” said Matt White, vice president for Advancement.
