September 10, 1927 – April 15, 2023 (age 95)

Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, and friend, Audra Mae Winger Case, 95, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at her daughters home in Honeyville, Utah.
She was born on September 19, 1927 in Riverdale, Idaho, a daughter of Loren A. and Hazel Mae Williams Winger.

Audra graduated from Preston High School in 1945. She graduated from Quish Cosmetology in 1946. She continued to work with Quish after licensing with them. Audra married her sweetheart, Reid F. Case on December 20, 1946 in Salt Lake Temple. He preceded her in death on February 26, 1987.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where Audra served in many capacities including Stake Relief Society Presidency, Young Women’s and Relief Society in her ward. She served a mission in the Texas Fort Worth Mission from 1989-1990.
Audra worked at the University of Utah Bookstore for 40 years retiring in 1983.

She loved to garden, eat Mrs. Cavanaugh chocolates, sailing with her husband at San Carlos, the Oregon Coast and salmon fishing. Audra liked spending time at the cabin at Bear Lake and her greatest joy was being with her family.

Surviving are two children: Steven (Trudy) Case; Sharon (Jerry) Ericson; five grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren and one sister, Lora Jean Simpson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Reid, one grandson, Steven Barber, one brother and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Honeyville 3rd Ward Chapel, 2620 W 6980 N.

Viewings will be held on Wednesday, April 19th at the church from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Interment will be in the Larkin Sunset Cemetery, 2350 E 1300 S., Salt Lake City, UT.
