According to emergency radio traffic, law enforcement and paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after the crash. Troopers reported that one person remained in the vehicle and refused medical attention.
It wasn’t clear if all three were not wearing seatbelts or whether the driver was the one who remained in the vehicle or was among the transported individuals.
Bishop said the northbound lanes of I-15 were partially closed as crews worked to clear the scene.
UHP didn’t specify if any type of impairment was being investigated as a possible contributing factor.
