LOGAN – Zootah has slated its annual “Boo at the Zoo 2024” event for Thursday, Oct. 17 through Saturday, Oct. 19.
The early Halloween observance will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, offering three full days of “spook-tacular games, fun and plenty of candy.”
During “Boo at the Zoo,” Zootah will be transformed into a festive Halloween wonderland land for kids of all ages, featuring daily animal parades each day at 12 p.m.
The youngsters can show off their Halloween costumes throughout the three-day event, according to a Zootah post on Facebook.
A costume contest is slated at noon on Oct. 17, followed by a pumpkin carving contest at 3 p.m. Families are encouraged to bring their own pumpkins for carving, however.
All-day Trick or Treating will be the main event on Oct. 18 at Zootah.
Finally, Zootah’s vendor day will be on Oct. 19, when kids and their families can explore unique booths and shop for festive treats and crafts.
Other attractions during “Boo at the Zoo” will include a hay maze, balloon animals and face painting.
Zootah is a seven-acre zoo that offers views of native and exotic animals.
It’s been Logan’s community zoo since 1970 and was previously known as the Willow Park Zoo.
Zootah offers a variety of events and programs, including educational camps and classes as well as special nights for members.
Zootah is located at 419 West, 700 South in Willow Park.
