Tamara Lee Stoddard Barnes Sparks (age 62) was born June 18, 1959, in Brigham City, Utah. Affectionately known as Tammy, she had many occupations after graduating high school, but her most fulfilling employment was when she worked as a CNA in Malad Idaho. Tammy had a kind heart and always saw the potential in her family and friends to do good in life.
Tammy had countless hobbies and developed many talents for art and crafting. Her favorite past times included reading, camping, fishing, rock collecting and watching the Price is Right. Tammy loved animals and was notorious for bringing home needy pets who would then become life-long buddies. But her favorite little friends were her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Tammy spent hours playing on the floor with little babies or chasing toddlers around the house. As they grew she watched countless movies together and showed them how to make various crafts. Tammy couldn’t wait to go camping together where she taught them how to thread a worm and catch the biggest fish!
Tammy passed away peacefully on April 3, 2022, from complications of pancreatitis. She is survived by her partner of 35 years, Ricky Sparks; Daughters Christy and Jennifer; Step Daughter Molli; Parents Kenneth J. and Joan Stoddard; Siblings Schelene, Julie, Karrie Jo, and Michael; And many nieces and nephews and grandchildren.
Tammy is preceded in death by her daughter Joani, niece Kaylynn and nephew Josh.
