Shelton Joseph George; age 78, born May 22, 1941 passed away November 22, 2019 at home surrounded by his family.

Shelton was the oldest son of Joseph Arthur and Lenora Cutler George. He married Pamala Ballard their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple. He attended school in Bear River City, McKinley, Bear River high school, and He attended Utah State. He played in the band, was an FFA officer and state FFA officer. He enjoyed cutter racing in Magna and was Part of the Bear River Valley Cutter association. He worked for Jay Dee Harris at the service station, he serviced cars at Hercules in Magna and at ATK in Promontory. He started farming raising hay, grain, sugar beets and corn. He also raised and took care of cattle and horses.

He is survived by his wife Pamala; daughters; Kerry (Howard) Rawlinson, Tammy (Von) Sorenson, Patty (Kurt) Shiffman, and son Kevin (Vicki) George. 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grand children. Sisters; LaVon (Wayne) Stenquist, DeAun (Dick) Johnson, LaRee (Ron) Bodliy and brothers; Doug (Marilyn) George, and Lloyd (Lori) George. He was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister and sister-in-law.

There will be a viewing held at Rogers and Taylor’s Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, Utah on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 11:00am at the 3rd Ward church building, 9590 North 6800 West, Tremonton, Utah with a viewing from 9:30 – 10:30am. Interment will be at Bear River City cemetery.
