May 31, 1955 — February 8, 2024 (age 68)

Sandra Lee Freestone of Tremonton Utah, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 8,2024 at the age of 68.

Sandy was born May 31, 1955 in Denver Colorado, to Lynn and Angelina Tharling. She grew up in Las Vegas Nevada. Her love of music and passion for performing led her to enroll in BYU as a music major. In a dance class at BYU she met Kerry Freestone and they were married on June 5, 1976 in the Saint George Temple. They made their home in Monticello Utah, where they raised 6 children; Sterling, Stephen, Stenson, Sulane, Sinamin and Selleca. She devoted her life to raising her children and sought to bless the lives of others where ever she could. She also started a wall paper business and a flower shop. She and her husband served an 18 month mission to the Philippines. She loved working in the Cebu temple and fell in love with the Filipino people. She also served in the Brigham City temple until her health failed. Her greatest joy came from watching the success of her 32 grand children. Her first great grandchild is due in August. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and she spent her life in service to others.

A funeral service will be held in Tremonton on February 19, at Rudd Funeral Home (111 N. 100 E.-Tremonton, UT 84337), at 12:00.

A viewing will be held prior to the funeral service from 10-11:45 a.m.

Interment will take place at the Monticello City Cemetery on February 20, at 2:00 PM.
