LOGAN – Registration is now underway for summer Adult Softball Program being offered by the Logan Parks and Recreation Department.

The city’s website explains that its softball program is an opportunity for adults to play in organized and officiated leagues, with play available for men, women and co-ed teams at various skill levels.

The website also promises that the softball program will improve its participants’ enjoyment of recreation as well as improving personal health and well-being through exercise.

Softball competition is scheduled to begin the week of June 10, consisting of 10 league games and a post-season tournament.

Registration for teams is now open and will continue until the rosters of teams are full.

All games will be played Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Willow Park Sport Complex between 6 and 9 p.m.

The leagues being offered in the Softball Program are Men’s D (in which players will some high school or college experience may participate), Co-Ed D and Co-Ed Recreational.

Softball games will be offered on Monday in the Men’s D and Co-Ed Recreation leagues.

Softball games will be offered on Wednesday in the Men’s D and Co-Ed Recreation leagues.

Softball games will be offered on Thursday in the Co-Ed D and Co-Ed Recreation leagues.

A $400 fee per team will be required at the time of registration.

The Willow Park Sports Complex is located at 500 West, 700 South in Logan.
