SALT LAKE CITY — Law enforcement is asking for the public’s help locating a 42-year-old man suspected of committing a homicide in the state of Michigan 12 years ago. Michigan State Police have asked the Utah State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) to help find Chadwick Shane Mobley.
Mobley is being investigated for his involvement in a Michigan murder that occurred in 2011.
According to a press release, Mobley was last seen in Corrine, on the morning of Wednesday, June 7th. He is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 155 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde hair. He has piercings in each ear and above his left eyebrow.
Police said Mobley is known to be armed and driving a white 2013 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck with Utah “Navy Veteran” License Plate 10EA0. The truck has dark-tinted windows and taillights.
Mobley is believed to be living in his vehicle and may still be in the area, according to law enforcement. Local dispatch centers throughout the state and neighboring states have been made aware of the situation.
Police are asking, if you have any information or spot the suspect, please contact 911, or law enforcement and do not approach him. All information will be sent to local agents at the State Bureau of Investigation, to coordinate with Michigan State Police.
Individuals arrested and charged in complaints are presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in court.
