MENDON — Emergency crews are responding to possible fatal plane crash between Mendon and Wellsville. The crash was reported around 9 a.m. Friday morning.
According to emergency radio traffic, the plane crashed in a field west of 2831 S. State Road 23, near the base of the Wellsville Mountains.
Several witnesses saw the plane crash and called 911.
First crews to arrive on the scene reported two possible fatal victims.
Investigators are on the scene interviewing witnesses. The Federal Aviation Administration has been notified.
