December 3, 1971 – April 19, 2022 (age 50)

Our loving son, brother uncle cousin, and friend Paul Merle Neal Jr., 50, passed away peacefully on the morning of April 19, 2022, after a lifelong battle with Diabetes.

Paul was born on December 3, 1971, in Provo UT, to Paul Merle Neal and Patsy Stanley. Paul graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1990. He served an honorable mission to Minneapolis MN. Paul had a great love of the gospel and the savior which continued all of his life, he was always willing to share that love with others.

When Paul was little, he would always tell his mom that he was going to be her little cowboy. Paul loved riding horses, country dancing, and anything outdoors, but most of all he loved being with his family, going to the movies, and just hanging out with his nieces and nephews. Paul had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He loved to sit and talk about friends and family near and far. Ones he hadn’t seen for years and would express how much he loved them all. He hung on to those memories because in them he had friends. It was what he knew was worth everything. He still loves you, wherever he is. And no matter who we are or what we are doing he is cheering us on. We all loved him. Because just like the heart of the Savior he loved us first and without limits.

He is survived by his father, Paul Merle Neal of Lehi; his mother, Patsy Stanley of Surprise AZ; his six siblings Christina (Kevin) Melville of Fillmore UT; Kimberly (Aaron) Killpack of Cody WY; Jared (Heidi) Neal of Rexburg ID; Stephen (Rachael) Neal of Brigham City UT; Courtney Neal of Surprise AZ; Joshua Neal of Seattle WA; 20 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister Linda Fay Neal, nephew Elijah Odel Melville.
