LOGAN — A North Logan couple has confessed to barging into a home and assaulting a woman in June. Kurn Erakdrik, 35, and Antonia Erakdrik, 39, have each accepted plea deals that will likely spare them from any prison time.

According to court records, Kurn and Antonia appeared Aug. 21 in Logan’s 1st District Court. They each pleaded guilty to an amended count of criminal trespass, a class A misdemeanor. Antonia also pleaded guilty to assault, a class B misdemeanor. 

According to prosecutors, deputies were called to the residence after the victim reported Kurn and Antonia had entered her home through the front door. Antonia then started slapping and hitting her.

Deputies reported the woman had scratch marks on the left side of her neck that were red and bleeding.

According to court records, Kurn Erakdrik is on probation after previously being convicted of driving under the influence and reckless driving.

During the Aug. 21st hearings, Judge Brian Cannell ordered both defendants to complete presentence reports about their criminal history, compiled by probation agents. He also scheduled sentencing for Oct. 23.

Kurn and Antonia are currently out of jail. They each could be sentenced to up to one year in jail.
