August 19, 1945 — August 4, 2022 (age 76)

Marsha Ann Jones (76) left this earthly life on August 4, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Marsha was born August 19, 1945 in Logan, Utah to Lois Pribble and George O. Jones. She was raised in Cache Junction, Utah. She was the oldest child of two siblings.

Marsha attended schools in Newton, Smithfield, and graduated from North Cache High School in 1963. She attended Utah State University after graduation then went on to work as a secretary for the university.

On February 3, 1967, she married her high school sweetheart, Jon Meikle, in the Logan Temple. They have enjoyed 55 years together raising their children on their farm in Smithfield, Utah. They have 3 children, Angela (Jerry) Kidd, Keith (Brenda) Meikle, and Steven Meikle. Along with eight grandchildren: Nicole (Jake) Anderson; Megan, Gracie and Olivia Kidd; Emma (Trevor) Gilmore, Jonathan, Joseph, and Isabelle Meikle. As well as two great-grandchildren, Boston and Dax Anderson.

Marsha was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in numerous callings. She especially enjoyed going visiting teaching with her various companions and assigned people. She was a PTA President and volunteered at Logan Regional Hospital as a pink lady.

Marsha loved living on the farm and helping do the books for many years. Marsha was very proud of her home and was a good cook. She sewed, crocheted, knitted, and did many crafts with her sister, Peggy. She loved her family very much. She loved to go on adventures and travel to different states and see new things with her family and her friends. She was a great help and support to her many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lois and George Jones. She has one sister, Peggy (Skip) Hamilton living in Georgetown, TX.

Marsha will be missed by many and will be in our memories forever. We want to give a special thank you to all the caregivers and doctors who helped her and the family through this difficult time.

The funeral service will be held on: Thursday, August 11th, at 11am.

A viewing will be held on: Wednesday, August 10th, from 6pm to 8pm and Thursday, August 11th, from 9:30am to 10:30am.

Viewings and funeral services will be held at the church house on 625 East 600 South Smithfield, Utah.
