LOGAN – City officials here are advising residents of the temporary closure of one of Logan’s popular pickleball court sites.

The pickleball courts at Bridger Park will be closed to the public for resurfacing beginning Monday, Aug. 12 through Wednesday, Aug. 21.

Played indoors or outdoors, pickleball is a racket or paddle sport in which two or four players use a smooth-faced paddle to hit a perforated, hollow plastic ball over a 34-inch-high net.

The pickleball courts at Bridger Park are located at 1181 North, 400 West.

There are other locations where residents and visitors can play pickleball while the Bridger Park courts are closed, however.

They include eight outdoor courts with lights at Bridger Elementary School (1200 North, 400 West) and nine indoor courts at the Picklr (1650 North Main Street in Logan).

Numerous courts are also available in other Cache Valley municipalities.
