LOGAN – City officials here are warning local residents to beware of scam artists reportedly at work in Logan.

It has been reported that individuals are going door-to-door in Logan pitching weatherization grants for improving attic insulation and other energy saving measures to residents.

City officials say that the promised weatherization grant programs are false and should be reported to Logan City Police Department.

At present, Logan does not have any programs promoting attic insulation grants; nor is the city sending anyone door-to-door promising weatherization rebates.

While Logan City does have some legitimate energy saving rebate offers, information about those programs can be found by going online to https://www.loganutah.gov/…/appliance_incentives.php

Residents who have any questions about the legitimacy of someone going door-to-door in city neighborhoods should contact city officials.

“Please call us,” according to Logan officials. “We are here to help.”
