LOGAN – Officials here in Logan have announced modified schedules for Logan City services and facilities during the Labor Day holiday.
“Residential and commercial garbage, recycling and green waste will be not be collected as usual on Monday, Sept. 2,” according to Logan Public Works spokesperson Emily Malik. “The city landfill will also closed to the public on that day.”
City trash routes normally serviced on Monday will be collected on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
The Logan Library, all City Offices, the Logan Community Recreation Center and the City Cemetery Offices will all be closed on Monday, Sept. 2.
Malik added, however, that the Logan River Golf Course will be open during regular operating hours on Labor Day (weather permitting) along with the Aquatic Center and the Splash Pad at the Carol and Jim Laub Plaza in downtown.
