LOGAN – A local roofing company is celebrating a decade of being in business by offering to replace four needy families or individual’s roof for free.
“The communities we serve have blessed us with the support of our business,” said Roof Rescue owner Mark Franklin. “We sincerely appreciate the trust and loyalty Southeast Idaho has shown us over the past 10 years.”

Operation Roof Rescue is a special initiative that involves giving away four free roofs to qualifying individuals that have made an impact in the community.
Franklin said the event gives the company a chance to show appreciation to those in the community who help “build a stronger and more resilient region that we are blessed to live and work in.”
These are four categories in which a person can apply or be nominated to:
- Veterans/Military personnel: Honoring their service and sacrifice.
- First Responders: Recognizing their bravery and dedication.
- Teachers: Appreciating their tireless efforts in shaping our future.
- Community Member: For someone who may not fit into the above categories but still deserves a helping hand.
Nominations will close August 18. Recipients will be announced September 2 and roofs will be completed before October 31.
Roof Rescue, with offices located in Idaho Falls, Twin Falls and Logan, offers services to all of Southeastern Idaho, Cache Valley, Utah, Western Wyoming, and Southwestern Montana.
