June 22, 1989 ~ May 8, 2022 (age 32)

Kristin Mekielle Jackman June 22, 1989- May 8, 2022. Kristin passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of May 8th. She was always one to keep us guessing throughout her life and has kept that tradition alive up to the end of her mortal existence. Kristin was born in Panaji Goa, India June 22, 1989 and placed into her parents loving arms in the Salt Lake Airport on a snowy chilly morning the 13th of February 1990. She was a stunning beauty even then. It was hard not to fall in love with those big beautiful brown eyes. Family has always been a special part of Kristin. She was encompassed by a loving family that first morning, will be put to rest surrounded by her earthly family, and has been reunited with a heavenly family ready to wrap their arms around her and guide her to the next part of her life.

Kristin loved big and she loved hard. Those on the receiving end were blessed by that love. We all wish she would have loved herself as much as she loved others. Her love frequently looked past any and all shortcomings. She would call just to hear your voice and feel close to her family and we’ll miss that now. Kristin placed a high priority on her love language and spent time and money to make sure that thoughtful gifts were always given, although the gift of her presence was oftentimes enough and what we wanted the most. Kristin was no stranger to doing things the hard way, always forging her own path. She was always looking for the next big adventure, and her family is glad this adventure is in a safe and peaceful place. We will miss her until we meet again, and look forward to that reuniting day with anticipation and joy.

She is survived by her ever patient and loving parents Brent & Robyn Jackman, siblings Erin (Aaron) Fisher, Nicole (John) Wood, & Devin Jackman. Nieces and nephews Jasmine (Jaxson), Jared, Logan, Harlee, Jason, Daniel, Jezebel, & Jadzia. Her furever friend Diesel. A sweet Grandma Jackman, lots of Uncles, Aunts, cousins and more.

Preceded in death by her special guardian angels Grandpa Jackman and Uncle Glen with many other loved ones across the veil.

There will be a family visitation Saturday May 14, 2022 at the LDS ward house at 11251 S 2700 W South Jordan, UT from 9:30-11:00 AM followed by a graveside service at 11:30 AM at the South Jordan Cemetery at 10630 S 1055 W South Jordan, UT.

Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home.
