Western Boil to be served up at the Tremonton Hay Days Community Dinner- Friday 6p.m.

TREMONTON — “Hay Days” is a celebration of wheat, grass, straw, alfalfa and all other types of hay that made Tremonton what it is today.   Activities kick off Friday afternoon and most will occur at Jeanie Stevens Park @ 700 N. 1000 W.  The Kids Carnival kicks off at 4p.m., also vendor booths also open at 4p.m.

The Community Dinner will be held at 6p.m.- they will serve up a Western Boil where you pick out what you want. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for kids under 10. Other Friday evening activities include Karaoke Super Star at 630p.m. as participants from the crowd sing their hearts out for their chance to be crowned Tremonton Hay Days Karaoke SuperStar.  Friday night wraps up with the Movie in the Park @ Dusk featuring “Second Hand Lions”

Events continue on Saturday with the HAYDAY 5K FunRun at 730a.m. The Pancakes in the Park at 8a.m. that give patrons the chance to join the Mayor, City Council and Office Staff as they serve a Free community Breakfast to all that come down to the park.  ham, eggs and pancakes will be served at the scorekeepers tower near the softball diamonds.

A Car Show will be held at 9a.m. featuring classic cars or muscle cars, hot rod or custom, Harley or Honda. The Baby Contest & Pampers Diaper Derby will be held at 9a.m.- if you have a baby between 0-24 months, you are invited to come down and share your bundle of joy with the community.   A Petting Zoo will be held at 10a.m.;

Bingo and Family Contests begin at 115p.m.  Tremonton’s Got Talent! begins Saturday evening activities at 530p.m. If you have a special talent you would like to show off to the community, the show is open to anyone who wants to compete with any sort of family-friendly act: singing, dancing, juggling, magic, playing an instrument, dramatic recitation, etc.

A Cornhole Tournament at 6p.m. There is a Concert in the Park at 8p.m.-featuring Dixon Haze. Activities wrap up with Fireworks at 10p.m.- watch the Fireworks show and listen to the music played by 104.9 The Ranch.
